【Futurus 分享】Bloomberg: Making it Easier for Hong Kong’s Elderly to Swallow With Softer Dim Sum, Laksa



Congratulations to Queenie Man, the Founder and CEO of The Project Futurus, for her feature in Bloomberg. The article has mentioned her vision for the future of aging and her concerns about dysphagia. Recently, Queenie Man led The Project Futurus team out of Hong Kong to Singapore, collaborating with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). They conducted several "Sensory Restaurant On Wheels" at local care homes, by using innovative methods to create localised softmeals, including laksa, pandan cake, and Hainanese chicken rice. Our aim is to recreate the food's appearance, making it "swallowing-friendly" and enhancing the appetites of seniors, thereby improving their overall quality of life, allowing those with swallowing difficulties to enjoy gourmet dishes.
