Connecting 200 colleagues and 100 Inclusion Ambassadors to champion disability inclusion through empathy, friendship, and meaningful engagement.

Bringing Inclusion into the Workplace

Good Times on Wheels™ was honoured to partner with Chinachem Group to bring an immersive inclusion experience directly into the Nina Ballroom at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West, engaging over 200 colleagues from across the organisation in a meaningful journey of learning, empathy, and connection.

100 Inclusion Ambassadors Leading the Way

Designed to promote disability awareness and social inclusion, the event brought together 100 Inclusion Ambassadors from Hong Kong Christian Service, Catholic Mission School, Fortress Hill Methodist Secondary School, and other community partners alongside corporate volunteers.

Representing active seniors, students, and SEN youths, the ambassadors stepped into the role of "little tutors", teaching balloon twisting and magic skills that volunteers could later apply in future community service activities. These cross-generational interactions fostered friendship, mutual respect, and understanding while reflecting Chinachem Group's volunteer values of Care. Contribute. Grow.

Building Empathy Through Experience

Beyond the laughter and interactive booths, participants gained deeper insights into the challenges faced by persons with disabilities.

Through communication workshops and a blindfolded feeding experience featuring soft meals, volunteers experienced firsthand some of the difficulties associated with dysphagia. These activities encouraged participants to better appreciate the importance of dignity, accessibility, and inclusive care.

Creating Lasting Impact

More than a one-day event, the programme demonstrated how meaningful engagement can break down barriers and build genuine connections.

Together with Chinachem Group, our Inclusion Ambassadors, and community partners, we created opportunities for people of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds to learn from one another and celebrate inclusion. Through shared experiences, we continue to foster a more caring and inclusive society where everyone feels valued, respected, and connected.
