Good Times on Wheels – CCG Community Inclusion Day

We had the incredible honor of partnering with Chinachem Group to bring “Good Times on Wheels™” directly into their banquet hall, Nina Ballroom at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West, creating a meaningful inclusive experience for 200 cross-departmental colleagues! 🤝

During the event, our Inclusion Ambassadors—comprising of active seniors, students, and SEN youths—stepped up as "little tutors", teaching corporate volunteers skills like balloon twisting and magic tricks to be used in future community services. This genuine, cross-generational interaction transcended communication barriers and demonstrated the spirit of mutual appreciation and growth. It perfectly echoed the core values of the CCG Volunteer Team: Care. Contribute. Grow. ✨

Beyond the laughter and joy at our interactive booths, we aimed to deepen everyone's understanding of the needs of different community groups. We shared communication skills with person living with disabilities and arranged a special blindfolded feeding experience to introduce care food and softmeal 🥄. By stepping into the shoes of those with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), the volunteers cultivated a profound sense of empathy, realizing that true care stems from genuine understanding.
